It's a new car...

... SEAT!!!
(Does anybody else automatically see a flash of Bob Barker's face when they here those words? :)
Anyways, we finally got Bryson a big boy carseat. He has needed it for a while now, but we were researching and wanted to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.
It's a hit! He loved playing with it in the living room- now we've just got to get it installed in the car. Definitely very soon...
Of course he liked the box much more than the actual seat! He's so silly these days- definitely growing up before our very eyes.

Hardly Working???

Working HARD!
Jason spent last Saturday cutting down several small trees in our backyard. He was hauling the limbs to the curb to be picked up the next day, when the Kenleys came by for a visit. Scott (and Sam) pitched in and helped drag several logs from the backyard to the front yard. After all the hard work was complete, we chatted for a while, and then decided we needed a picture to document Jason's victory over the unruly backyard (even though Bryson had already had a bath and was in his PJs!). Pretty cute crew we have here!

Shannon's Shower

Last Tuesday evening we hosted a lingerie shower for Shannon (my brother's fiancee) in our home. Lots of friends, Shannon's mom, Shannon's grandmother, and my mom all got together for an evening of fun and TONS of laughs. Shannon was totally in her element, and seemed to really enjoy every moment. Here is the evening in pictures...

Granny & Grandpa

Last Sunday Granny and Grandpa Ruple made the trip to College Station to see Bryson (and us!). We ate lunch at Koppe Bridge and then headed back to our house. Here is Bryson showing Grandpa how to shoot some hoops.
This is the best picture I could get of the three of them. Bryson is now obsessed with glasses and is very focused on getting them off of peoples' faces. Not good! I love their expressions though...
We had a great visit! Thanks to Granny and Grandpa for making the drive- it made our Sunday!
