Last weekend we loaded up and headed to New Braunfels to celebrate my Mom's birthday. Her birthday was officially on Monday the 18th, but our celebration started on Friday! Jason grilled that evening. We enjoyed the beautiful weather by sitting outside and watching Bryson play on the new toys Grandma got him. He has several new ride-on toys (can we say spoiled? :). Their driveway slopes downward and he LOVED cruising down the "hill". By the time we left he had started to throw his hands in the air while going down the hill. I am now positive that we have a dare-devil on our hands! Here are a few pictures from our weekend:

On Saturday morning Granny came over and we went to the children's museum. It was amazing! I took about 500 pictures. Here are a few...

Learning about a healthy diet:
Here is Granny testing out the BMI machine. She entered her age and height, and it came up with percentages of muscle, blood, water, etc...
Learning about bones:
Miniature hospital nursery:
A life-sized moo cow!
Bryson LOVED this bridge! Not sure why, but he wanted to spend the majority of his time here:
Fake ice in the ice chest:
Ride 'em Cowboy!
Hello!
Relaxing by the campfire:
There was a whole station set up with buttons and switches that turned things off and on. Bryson loved it, which I knew he would since he loves to turn the lights off and on at home. We spent quite a bit of time here...
The cashier (aka Grandma) at the grocery store:
Loading up his basket:
Ambulance Drivers!
Granny showing us how the interactive butterfly screen worked (notice the butterfly that landed on her hand):
We had such a good time and are already looking forward to our next trip to New Braunfels so that we can visit the children's museum again.
Jason went hunting in Pleasanton on Saturday and spent the night there. He came back to NB on Sunday morning (with lots of dove for our freezer) and we came home after a delicious lunch at Clear Springs.
Happy Birthday Grandma! Thanks for a great weekend!
