{This one is for you Mom, Jason, and Jenny...}
Well, after much taunting (ie being told my child has a mullet, being asked to put his hair in a pony tail, and being told he has a comb-over} I finally gave in to the idea of cutting his hair. This was a HUGE decision- one that I have been pretty sad about. I guess this sadness is coming from knowing that this is part of my little boy growing up.
I guess we can't stop that from happening, so I decided to embrace it instead. I was originally planning on taking him to a barber shop. Jason quickly nixed that idea when he reminded me of what a disaster that would be.
So tonight, in our garage, we got out the clippers and scissors. Bryson SCREAMED and caused our neighbors who never even acknowledge our existence to blatantly stare at us. I waved at them and continued with my business. Bryson's hair had grown very long on top but not much anywhere else. I just tried to shorten that part up. He still doesn't have a ton of hair, so there really isn't even enough to cut across the back of his neck. I must say he looks really cute with his new big boy haircut {and I am sort of wondering why we didn't do this sooner}.
Here are a few of the before pictures:
{and yes- I have been taking random shots of his hair knowing this day was fast approaching}:
