Celebrating...

We couldn't let Jason's thirtieth birthday go by without some sort of celebration. Jason said that he wanted to have a party where he did everything. From the planning to the guest list- it was all about him. I was sort of sad about the guest list part because my friends only got to come if they happened to be married to one of Jason's "best" friends. Oh well- I guess I survived.  :)
Jason's planning consisted of him telling me that he wanted to grill burgers and me doing the rest. Go figure! Anyways, I put this little birthday banner together, and even surprised him with a few old {embarrassing} pictures. I know that deep down he really loved it!

Jason's favorite candy is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I found a recipe on-line for this chocolate/peanut butter cake with crushed Reese's on top--->  A. Maz. Ing.
I also made these peanut butter cookies with Reese's Cups in the middle. Jason said these are his new favorite...
The Grill Master {aka The OLD Man}
A few of the ladies and babies...
These two boys were fast friends. I didn't see one without the other all evening!
Three generations of Ruple men:
Granny feeding Bryson her ice {felt so good on those teething gums!}...

Make a wish...
We had a great time celebrating with family and friends.
The weekend was EXHAUSTING, but we are so blessed by the people in our lives.

Love you Babe!
