Well, after lots of tears, prayer, talking with my mom and mother-in-law and friends, and soul searching, I have decided to take the full-time clinical coordinator position. It just seems like ALL things were pointing me in that direction.
I've also realized several things in this process:
1. Being a good mom is more about who I am than what I do. Just like with salvation, it is NOT won over by good works. In other words, it's not about how many times I change Bryson's diaper, or how many times I do any certain activity with/for him. It IS about loving him completely and living the legacy that I want him to be a part of. I have to be intentional and directional in all that I do, so that Bryson will experience the best that this life has to offer.
2. Quoting a sweet friend: "It's not a one or the other decision." I can be a great mom AND a great leader in the nursing profession. What a thought. :)
3. I have to keep the most important thing, the most important thing. God will handle the rest.
4. God calls moms to provide, protect, prepare, and pass it on. Good news- I can do all of this even if I work.
5. My family is my treasure. "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Matthew 6:21) Enough said.
All of this to say that I am so thankful for the Grace we have in raising these children God has given us. I've realized that we all have different answers when journeying down this path; as long as we're seeking the Lord and truly searching for what is best for our family/children, God takes care of the rest. I have just found a lot of freedom in that lately.
So, looks like I will start this new position in the beginning of November. I have about six weeks to prepare. I'm excited and ready for this next phase of life, even though I know there will be a time of adjusting. It just feels right.
Thanks so much to Jason, my mom, mother-in-law, sister, and several friends who have really helped me in this HUGE decision. I love each of you!

Proud of you Courtney and this big decision God has placed in your lap. Like I said I don't believe things like this just fall into our laps, God places things like this before us. You are so gifted with your leadership ability and nursing skills. YOu will do excellent in this position. You will still be the BEST mommy ever for Bryson! And like you said for such a time as this. Next year may be different.
