The last weekend in June we took a road trip to see our family in Pleasanton. On Friday night everyone came over to Granny and Grandpa's house for dinner.
Cousins!
Eating dinner at the pretty princess table...
Watering tomatoes with Grandpa...
On Saturday Jason played in a golf tournament with Will and Bret, so B and I hung out with Granny all day. Somehow I got the idea to take Bryson for his first official hair cut! I was a little bit nervous as to how he would act, but he was {surprisingly} perfect! Here are a few shots from his first official haircut...
Such a big boy!
After he was all cleaned up {and looking much more like a little boy than a toddler :( } we headed back to Granny's house for some playtime outside.
New flip-flops from Granny! Bryson's feet have always been too tall and wide to fit into regular shoes {he has always had to wear Stride-Rite extra wide} until now. I was so excited to see that his foot would actually fit into cute flip-flops. Again--- where has my baby gone???
We see a lot of this face...
Bryson also enjoyed working in Grandpa's shop with him. Grandpa showed him how to turn all of his machines off and on. They were really loud and Bryson was in Heaven!
Golf? Pool? Not too many rules at Granny's!
On Friday night Ruben and Kami came by after dinner. Kami was due to have a baby on July 3rd, but was already having contractions. I could tell she was miserable! I told her that if she would go ahead and have the baby that weekend I would appreciate it! She laughed, but ended up having the baby the next day! Granny and Grandpa watched Bryson so that we could go to the hospital on Saturday night. What a sweet surprise!

On Sunday we ate lunch with my parents in New Braunfels and then headed home. We were exhausted but so thankful for the time we got to spend with family that we don't get to see nearly enough. Looking forward to our next trip!
