Well, after three long years of battling the IRS, it looks like our struggles are finally over. Last Friday we had our tax return (minus the $6.66 they said we still owed them) deposited into our account. I'm still in shock, waiting to receive yet another certified letter threatening to a put a lien on our house. It seems as though it really is over, though. Maybe I can quit holding my breath. Anyways, we decided to celebrate and bought all of our friends pizza last night! When Jenny got here she said "Happy IRS is finally off of your back day!" That pretty much sums it up perfectly.
Our friends and family have been so supportive throughout this whole ordeal, and we want to say thanks to each and every one of you! Even through all of this, God has always provided. We have grown closer as a couple, and learned that worrying really is a waste of time.
The weight of this was tremendous, and we are definitely breathing a little easier around the Ruple house tonight. Ahhhhhhhhh! It's FINALLY over!
