Jason and I had the chance to really get into Texas A&M Womens Basketball this year. We were given tickets to a few games, and bought tickets to several more games. Jason used to say that he "just didn't like women's basketball" but has definitely changed his mind after following the Lady Aggies this season. They were so much fun to watch, and ended the season by winning a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP {the first sports championship in school history}. We enjoyed it so much that we are now the proud owners of season tickets for next year!

The girls defeated Notre Dame to take home the Championship trophy {76-70}. There will be a lot of whooping coming from the Ruples next season.

It could be that I used to play, but I love women's basketball. I have heard several men say they don't like it, but they have also never watched. Then, I have heard these same men, once they did give it a chance, say they like it, in some ways, better than watching men becasue when men play, it is constant hustle up and down the court. Women actually set up, take time, and move the ball around. Anyway, just my opinion. When we worked at Baylor, we were there for their championship. Now we are at A&M for this championship. And, being that we are alumni of both schools, I think it is okay for us to cheer for both, even though many in this area were happy to see Baylor outed by the Aggies.
