And lots of them. Last night she was moving around so much, and lifting her legs straight up into the air. It is crazy! Of coure this is all heresay for me, but they did just remove my epidural (finally). So as soon as I get feeling back in my bottom half I will be in a wheelchair headed to see her. I have been pumping every three hours and Jason has been taking what I'm getting to the milk bank, so he saw her a few times during the night to check on her. He got to see her back and the little sack of skin that is covering her little defecit. They are planning on repairing that next week if she is stable enough. I talked to a neonatologist on the phone late last night, giving my consent for Caroline to receive blood transfusions if necessary. His words were "she is surprisngly stable at this time, but that could all change very quickly."
They keep reiterating how premature she is (the doctors think she is actually only about 23 1/2 weeks, not 24 2/7 weeks. So, we are still relying on big prayers to see this little one through.
I tried to upload a picture of her sweet little feet (which Jenny says are perfect- by the way!) straight up in the air, but can't get it to work. I will try again later...
Thank you for all of your prayers up until now. I truly know that my little girl is alive right now due to those prayers. We need them now more than ever, as we face a very long and scary road ahead of us.

Don't you be doing too much mama - Gotta save some of that for Caroline and her little brother. Already getting the "new mama speech":) You are fantastic for where you have already been. Only God can get a woman and baby this far. His Love and Grace is in each step you take. Sounds like for you, your family and staff. God Bless. Can't wait for the pics. Still Praying Hard!

Pretty incredible and insane what you and baby Caroline have just experienced. I could not fathom having our baby in this world already (same age), so I'll be interested in seeing pictures of just how tiny she really is right now! Thinking about you and yours...
